Last modified: 05/10/2020

Welcome to Roldorf & Co’s Terms of Service. Please read this carefully before using our site, services, or products. This is a legally-binding contract between you and Roldorf & Co. We’ve tried to be straightforward with this contract, but we want you to feel comfortable with it, so please feel free to contact us if you have any questions or suggestions.

Please read these Terms of Service (the “Terms”) carefully before using roldorf.co (the “Site”) and/or the other products, applications, and services provided by Roldorf & Co (collectively, the “Services”). We’ll refer to Roldorf & Co as “Roldorf,” “we,” or “us” throughout these Terms. By using or accessing the Services (even just browsing our website), you agree to be bound by all the terms and conditions. If you don’t agree to all the terms and conditions, please do not use the Services.

Use of the Services

  • Eligibility. We only permit individuals who are at least 13 years old and can form legally binding contracts with us to use the Services, provide any personal information to Roldorf, or otherwise submit personal information through the Services. Your use of the Services means you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements we outline in these terms, so please provide accurate information about yourself. Roldorf may still refuse to let certain people access or use the Services. Roldorf may also change its eligibility criteria. Further, we offer the Services only for personal use, and not for the use or benefit of any third party.
  • Registration. Most of Roldorf’s Services can be maneuvered without creating a user account (an “Account”). Other features, though, may require you to create an Account. If you do create an Account, you agree to provide Roldorf with accurate, complete, and updated registration information. You are solely responsible for any activity that occurs through your Account. This means you should not: (1) share your Account information; (2) use another person’s Account or registration information for the Services without permission; (3) create a username that is otherwise offensive, vulgar, or obscene; (4) let someone else use your Account without permission; or (5) publish, distribute, or post login information for your Account. You are solely responsible for keeping your Account and Account password secure and for any consequence resulting from your failure to do so. We understand that your road may take you away from Roldorf for various reasons. If it does, you can delete your Account by contacting us.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy details how we collect and use your information. You should review it if you would like to know more about how we collect, use, and treat your information.

Content and User Content

  • Definition. For purposes of these Terms of Service, the term “Content” includes, without limitation, information, data, text, photographs, videos, audio clips, written posts and comments, software, scripts, graphics, and interactive features generated, provided, or otherwise made accessible on or through the Services. For the purposes of this Agreement, “Content” also includes all User Content (as defined below).
  • User Content. The term “User Content” means all Content added, created, uploaded, submitted, distributed, or posted to the Services by users (collectively “User Content”), whether publicly posted or privately transmitted. Users retain ownership and/or other applicable rights in User Content. Roldorf and/or third parties retain ownership and/or other applicable rights in all Content other than User Content. You acknowledge that all Content, including User Content, accessed by you using the Services is at your own risk and you will be solely responsible for any damage or loss to you or any other party resulting from accessing Content.
  • Notices and Restrictions. The Services may contain Content specifically provided by us, our partners or our users and such Content is protected by copyrights, trademarks, service marks, patents, trade secrets or other proprietary rights and laws. You shall abide by and maintain all copyright notices, information, and restrictions contained in any Content accessed through the Services.
  • Content License from Roldorf to You. As a User of the Services, Roldorf grants you a worldwide, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable and non-transferable license to use (i.e., to download and display locally) Content solely in connection with your use of the Services. This license does not allow you to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, or store any Content for other than purposes of using the Services without prior written permission from us. You also cannot sell, license, rent, or otherwise use or exploit any Content for commercial use or in any way that violates any third party right.
  • User Content License Grant to Roldorf. When you submit, distribute, transmit, or post any communications or any other material to Roldorf (either through the Services or through our pages on third party sites, such as Instagram, Twitter and Facebook), you give us a right and license to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display, and distribute your User Content in any and all media formats or distribution channels. You agree that this license includes the right for Roldorf to use your User Content to provide, promote, and improve the Services. You agree that this license is irrevocable, non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, transferable, sublicensable, fully paid and royalty-free and will survive termination of your Account. Please note that we may use User Content without compensation of any kind to you, including if we use User Content for advertising or promotional purposes. You also agree that if your User Content contains any ideas, concepts, know-how, or techniques, we can use the User Content and anything it contains for any purpose including, but not limited to, developing, manufacturing and marketing products. In addition to giving Roldorf a license, you also give each user of the Services an irrevocable, non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, transferable, sublicensable, fully paid and royalty-free right and license to access your User Content through the Services and to use, edit, modify, publish, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, perform, adapt and promote such submissions, including after any termination of your Account. For clarity, we want you to know that this license does not affect your other ownership or license rights in your User Content, including the right to grant additional licenses to your User Content. There are no restrictions on your ownership and license rights in your User Content unless you otherwise agree in writing. You also agree that you will respect the intellectual property rights of others, and represent and warrant that you have all of the necessary rights to grant us this license for all Subscriber Content you transfer to us.
  • Availability of Content. We do not guarantee that any Content will be made available on the Site or through the Services. We reserve the right to, but do not have any obligation to, (i) remove, edit or modify any Content in our sole discretion, at any time, without notice to you and for any reason (including, but not limited to, upon receipt of claims or allegations from third parties or authorities relating to such Content or if we are concerned that you may have violated these Terms of Service), or for no reason at all and (ii) to remove or block any Content from the Services.

Rules of Conduct

  • As a condition of use, you promise not to use the Services for any purpose that is prohibited by these Terms. You are responsible for all of your activity in connection with the Services.
  • Submissions. When you submit User Content, you represent and warrant (a.k.a. you promise) that:
    • you hold all necessary right, title and license to such materials (in other words, you own it or have the right to give it to us);
    • that your submission of such materials to Roldorf does not and will not violate or infringe the rights of any third-parties, including without limitation, any privacy rights, publicity rights, copyrights, trademarks, contract rights, or any other intellectual property or proprietary rights (you didn’t take it from someone else without permission); and
    • all User Content you provide is accurate, complete, up-to-date and not misleading (you’re not lying).
  • Form of User Content. In addition, any User Content must not
    • include any profanity or obscene, indecent, or pornographic material;
    • contain any unauthorized or unsolicited advertising, such as spam;
    • contain software viruses or any other computer codes, files or programs that are designed or intended to disrupt, damage, limit or interfere with the proper function of any software, hardware, or telecommunications equipment or to damage or obtain unauthorized access to any system, data, password or other information of ours or of any third party;
    • impersonate any person or entity; or
    • include anyone’s identification documents or sensitive financial information.
  • Other Rules While Accessing Services. You may not do any of the following while accessing or using the Services:
    • take any action that imposes or may impose (as determined by us in our sole discretion) an unreasonable or disproportionately large load on our or our third party providers’ infrastructure;
    • interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of the Services or any activities conducted on the Services;
    • bypass, circumvent or attempt to bypass or circumvent any measures we may use to prevent or restrict access to the Services, including without limitation other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to the Services;
    • run any form of auto-responder or “spam” on the Services;
    • use manual or automated software, devices, or other processes to “crawl” or “spider” any page of the Site;
    • harvest or scrape any Content from the Services;
    • decipher, decompile, disassemble, reverse engineer or otherwise attempt to derive any source code or underlying ideas or algorithms of any part of the Services (including without limitation any application), except to the limited extent applicable laws specifically prohibit such restriction;modify, translate, or otherwise create derivative works of any part of the Services;
    • copy, rent, lease, distribute, or otherwise transfer any of the rights that you receive hereunder. You shall abide by all applicable local, state, national and international laws and regulations; or
    • otherwise take any action in violation of this Terms of Use or our Privacy Policy.

Third Party Services

The Services may permit you to link to other websites, services or resources on the Internet, and other websites, services or resources may contain links to the Services. When you access third party resources on the Internet, you do so at your own risk. All content, including User Content and third party content, is the responsibility of the party that creates it. Roldorf does not control or endorse any User Content or third party content, and we make no claims or representations regarding any content we do not create. We may provide links to third party sites or resources, but these links do not mean we endorse or have any associations with the third parties. Please note that any moderators, forum managers or hosts on the Services are not authorized as our spokespersons, and their views do not necessarily reflect those of Roldorf. If any damage or loss results from your use of, reliance on, or any other connection between you and any content that any third party makes available, you acknowledge and agree that we are not responsible or liable, directly or indirectly. We take no responsibility related to third party content, User Content, or any actions resulting from your use of any part of the Services. Roldorf will have no liability in connection with any content submitted to, transmitted via, or displayed or posted on or through the Services, regardless of whether Roldorf or another party provides it.

Commerce

Certain of our Services or product offerings may be subject to payments of fees (the “Paid Services”). You shall pay all applicable fees, as described in the applicable Services, in connection with such Services, and any related taxes or additional charges.

  • Billing. When you pay for something, Roldorf uses a third-party payment processor (the “Payment Processor”) to charge your payment account that you specify (e.g. credit card, etc). The processing of payments will be subject to the terms, conditions and privacy policies of the Payment Processor in addition to this Agreement. We are not responsible for error by the Payment Processor. By choosing to use Paid Services, you agree to pay us, through the Payment Processor, all charges at the prices then in effect and you authorize us, through the Payment Processor, to charge your chosen payment provider (your “Payment Method”). We reserve the right to correct any errors or mistakes that it makes even if it has already requested or received payment.
  • Payment Method. The terms of your payment will be based on your Payment Method and may be determined by agreements between you and the financial institution, credit card issuer or other provider of your chosen Payment Method. If we, through the Payment Processor, do not receive payment from you, you agree to pay all amounts due upon demand.

Termination

We don’t want to ever have to do this, but we reserve the right to terminate your license to use the Services or block or prevent your access to the Services, without providing you with notice or reason. In the event of termination, your obligations under these Terms will still continue.

Warranty Disclaimer

  • We have no special relationship with you. This means, by agreeing to these terms, you also agree that we have no control over, and no duty to take any action regarding:
    • which users gain access to the Services;
    • what Content you access via the Services; or
    • how you may interpret or use the Content.
  • You release us from all liability relating to you acquiring or not acquiring Content through the Services. Roldorf’s website may at some points contain, or direct you to websites containing, information that some people may find offensive or inappropriate. We make no representations concerning any Content contained in or accessed through the Services, and we will not be responsible or liable for the accuracy, copyright compliance, or legality of material or Content contained in or accessed through the Services. Your interactions with organizations and/or individuals found on or through the Services, including payment and delivery of goods or services, and any other terms, conditions, warranties or representations associated with such dealings, are solely between you and such organizations and/or individuals.
  • THE SERVICES AND CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROLDORF DISCLAIMS ALL REPRESENTATIONS AND WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, RELATING TO THE SERVICES OR ANY CONTENT ON THE SERVICES, WHETHER PROVIDED OR OWNED BY ROLDORF OR BY ANY THIRD PARTY, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, FREEDOM FROM COMPUTER VIRUS, AND ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES ARISING FROM COURSE OF DEALING, COURSE OF PERFORMANCE, OR USAGE IN TRADE, ALL OF WHICH ARE EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMED. IN ADDITION, HODINKEE DOES NOT REPRESENT OR WARRANT THAT THE CONTENT ACCESSIBLE VIA THE SERVICES IS ACCURATE, COMPLETE, AVAILABLE, CURRENT, FREE OF VIRUSES OR OTHER HARMFUL COMPONENTS OR THAT THE RESULTS OF USING THE SERVICES WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS. YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES IS SOLELY AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Indemnification

We hope this never happens, but if Roldorf gets sued because of something that you did, you agree to indemnify us. That means you’ll defend Roldorf (including any of our employees) and hold us harmless from any legal claim or demand (including reasonable attorney’s fees) that arises from your use (or misuse) of our Services, your breach of the Terms or your account’s infringement of someone else’s rights. We reserve the right to assume the exclusive defense and control of any matter otherwise subject to indemnification by you, in which event you will assist and cooperate with us in asserting any available defenses.

Limitation on Liability

IN NO EVENT WILL ROLDORF OR ANYONE REPRESENTING ROLDORF BE LIABLE TO YOU UNDER CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, NEGLIGENCE OR ANY OTHER LEGAL OR EQUITABLE THEORY FOR (I) ANY LOST PROFITS, DATA LOSS, COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES, OR SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, COMPENSATORY OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OF ANY KIND WHATSOEVER RESULTING FROM (I) YOUR ACCESS TO, USE OF, OR RELIANCE ON ANY CONTENT PROVIDED THROUGH THE SERVICES OR ANY ERRORS OR OMISSIONS IN ANY CONTENT; (II) ANY UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR USE OF THE SERVICES OR ROLDORF’S SECURE SERVERS AND/OR ANY AND ALL PERSONAL INFORMATION AND/OR FINANCIAL INFORMATION STORED THEREIN; (III) ANY INTERRUPTION OR CESSATION OF TRANSMISSION TO OR FROM THE SERVICES; OR (IV) ANY BUGS, VIRUSES, TROJAN HORSES OR THE LIKE THAT MAY BE TRANSMITTED TO OR THROUGH OUR SERVICES BY ANY THIRD PARTY (REGARDLESS OF THE SOURCE OF ORIGINATION) OR (B) ANY DIRECT DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF (IN THE AGGREGATE) OF THE GREATER OF (I) FEES PAID TO US FOR THE APPLICABLE PRODUCTS; OR (II) $500.00.

Modifications

Things change quickly, so we reserve the right to review these Terms and update them to accurately reflect developments in current law and our business operations at any time. So you know we’ve made modifications since your last visit, we’ll make sure to also change the "Last Modified" date at the top of this page. At any time, we also may change, suspend, or discontinue the Services, or impose limits on certain features and Services.

Miscellaneous

  • Entire Agreement and Severability. These Terms of Service are the entire agreement between you and Roldorf with respect to the Services and supersede all prior or contemporaneous communications and proposals (whether oral, written or electronic) with respect to the Services. Further, if any provision of these Terms of Service is found to be unenforceable or invalid, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary. The limitation or elimination of the term will not affect other terms. The failure of either party to exercise in any respect any right provided for herein shall not be deemed a waiver of any further rights hereunder
  • Force Majeure. Sometimes things come up that are outside of our control. Because of that, we shall not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations hereunder where such failure results from any cause beyond our reasonable control, including, without limitation, mechanical, electronic or communications failure or degradation.
  • Assignment. These Terms of Service are personal to you. You cannot assign, transfer, or sublicense these Terms without first obtaining our consent. We may assign, transfer or delegate any of our rights and obligations hereunder without consent.
  • Agency. These Terms do not create any agency, partnership, joint venture, or employment relationship, and neither party has any authority to bind the other in any respect.
  • No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any part of these Terms of Service shall not constitute a waiver of our right to later enforce that or any other part of these Terms of Service. Waiver of compliance in any particular instance does not mean that we will waive compliance in the future. In order for any waiver of compliance with these Terms of Service to be binding, we must provide you with written notice of such waiver through one of our authorized representatives.
  • Governing Law and Jurisdiction. No matter where you’re located, the laws of the Province of British Columbia will govern these Terms and the relationship between you and Roldorf as if you signed these Terms in British Columbia, without regard to British Columbia's conflicts of laws rules. If any provisions of these Terms are inconsistent with any applicable law, those provisions will be superseded and/or modified only to the extent such provisions are inconsistent. The parties agree to submit to the federal or provincial courts in British Columbia for exclusive jurisdiction of any dispute arising out of or related to your use of the Services or your breach of these Terms.
  • Headings. The section and paragraph headings in these Terms of Service are for convenience only and do not affect their interpretation.

Roldorf & Co Privacy Policy

Last modified: 10/05/2020

Welcome to Roldorf & Co’s Privacy Policy. Roldorf & Co (“Roldorf,” “we”, “our” or “us”) takes the privacy of your information very seriously. We believe that you have a right to know what information we collect from you, and we want you to understand our commitment to protecting your privacy. This policy regarding our privacy practices (the “Privacy Policy”) describes the collection, use and disclosure of your information on roldorf.co and shop.roldorf.com (collectively, the “Site”) and the services, features, content or applications we offer (collectively with the Site, the “Services”). We’ve tried to be straightforward, but we want you to understand the policy, so please feel free to contact us if you have any questions.

When you use the Services, we receive information about you from various sources, including: (i) if you register for the Site and the Services, through your user account on the Services (your “Account”); (ii) your use of the Services generally; and (iii) from third party websites and services. When you use the Services, you are consenting to the collection, transfer, manipulation, storage, disclosure and other uses of your information as described in this Privacy Policy, so please read this carefully.

By using or accessing the Services in any manner, you acknowledge that you accept the practices and policies outlined in this Privacy Policy, and you hereby consent that we will collect, use, and share your information in the following ways.

Remember that your use of Roldorf & Co’s Services is at all times subject to the Terms of Service, which incorporates this Privacy Policy. Any terms we use in this Policy without defining them have the definitions given to them in the Terms of Service.

What Does This Privacy Policy Cover?

This Privacy Policy covers the treatment of personally identifiable information (“Personal Information”) gathered when you are using or accessing the Services. This Privacy Policy also covers our treatment of any Personal Information that our business partners share with us or that we share with our business partners.

This Privacy Policy does not apply to the practices of third parties that we do not own, control, or manage, including but not limited to any third party websites, services and applications (“Third Party Services”). While we try to make sure that we work with Third Party Services that share our respect for your privacy, we cannot take responsibility for the content or privacy policies of those Third Party Services. We encourage you to carefully review the privacy policies of any Third Party Services you access.

As noted in the Terms of Service, we do not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Information from anyone under the age of 13 (or if you are in the EU, we do not knowingly collect or solicit Personal Information from anyone under the age of 16). If you are under 13 (or under 16 in the EU), please do not attempt to register for the Services or send any Personal Information about yourself to us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under age 13 (or under age 16 in the EU), we will delete that information as quickly as possible. If you believe that a child under 13 (or under 16 in the EU) may have provided us Personal Information, please contact us.

What Happens When There Are Changes to this Privacy Policy?

We may amend this Privacy Policy from time to time. Use of information we collect now is subject to the Privacy Policy in effect at the time such information is used. If we make changes in the way we collect or use information, we will notify you by posting an announcement on the Services, updating the “Last Modified” date at the beginning of this Privacy Policy. A user is bound by any changes to the Privacy Policy when he or she uses the Services after such changes have been first posted.

What Information Do We Collect?

The information we gather enables us to personalize, improve and continue to operate the Services. In connection with certain aspects of the Services, we may request, collect and/or display some of your Personal Information. We receive and store any information you knowingly provide to us. We collect the following types of information from our users.

Account Information:

When you create an Account, you will provide information that could be Personal Information, such as your username, password and email address. You acknowledge that this information may be personal to you, and by creating an account on the Services and providing Personal Information to us, you allow others, including us, to identify you and therefore may not be anonymous. We may use your contact information to send you information about our Services, but only rarely when we feel such information is important. You may unsubscribe from these messages through your Account settings, although we, regardless, reserve the right to contact you when we believe it is necessary, such as for account recovery purposes.

User Content:

Some features of the Services allow you to provide content to the Services, such as written comments. All content submitted by you to the Services may be retained by us indefinitely, even after you terminate your account. We may continue to disclose such content to third parties in a manner that does not reveal Personal Information, as described in this Privacy Policy.

Location Information:

Some of our Services may include features based on users’ actual locations and may report on users’ current locations (“Location-Based Services”). To the extent you use any Location-Based Services, we may collect and store information about your location at the time you use those Location-Based Services (in addition to some automatically collected geolocation data as noted below). This information can come from a variety of sources depending on the device you use to access the Services; for example, a mobile phone may report its GPS location at the time Location-Based Services are used.

Financial Information:

We do not currently collect financial information, such as your payment method (valid credit card number, type, expiration date or other financial information); that information is collected and stored by our third party payment processing company (the “Payment Processor”), and use and storage of that information is governed by the Payment Processor’s applicable terms of service and privacy policy. Our online store is currently hosted by Shopify Inc. (“Shopify”). Shopify provides us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell certain merchandise to you. When you provide Personal Information in connection with a purchase on or through the Service, such Personal Information is stored through Shopify’s data storage, databases, and the general Shopify application. Shopify may transfer, process or store your data outside of the United States and such data may be subject to disclosure as required by applicable law. For more information, you can read Shopify’s Terms of Service (https://www.shopify.com/legal/terms) or Privacy Statement (https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy).

IP Address Information and Other Information Collected Automatically:

  • We automatically receive and record information on our server logs from your web browser or device when you interact with the Services, including your IP address, geolocation data, device identification, cookie information, the type of browser and/or device you’re using to access our Services, and the page or feature you requested. This information is used for fighting spam/malware and also to facilitate collection of data concerning your interaction with the Services (e.g., what links you have clicked on).

Generally, the Services automatically collect usage information, such as the number and frequency of visitors to the Site. We may use this data in aggregate form, that is, as a statistical measure, but not in a manner that would identify you personally. This type of aggregate data enables us and third parties authorized by us to figure out how often individuals use parts of the Services so that we can analyze and improve them.

Email Communications:

We may receive a confirmation when you open an email from us. We use this confirmation to improve our customer service.

Information Collected Using Cookies:

  • Cookies are pieces of text that may be provided to your computer through your web browser when you access a website. Your browser stores cookies in a manner associated with each website you visit. We use cookies to enable our servers to recognize your web browser and tell us how and when you visit the Site and otherwise use the Services through the Internet.
  • Our cookies do not, by themselves, contain Personal Information, and we do not combine the general information collected through cookies with other Personal Information to tell us who you are. As noted, however, we do use cookies to identify that your web browser and tell us how and when you use the Services, and we may associate that information with your Account if you have one.
  • Most browsers have an option for turning off the cookie feature, which will prevent your browser from accepting new cookies, as well as (depending on the sophistication of your browser software) allowing you to decide on acceptance of each new cookie in a variety of ways. You may be able to change the preferences on your browser or device to prevent or limit your device’s acceptance of cookies, but this may prevent you from taking advantage of some of our features. We strongly recommend that you leave cookies active, because they enable you to take advantage of the most attractive features of the Services.
  • Our advertising partners may also transmit cookies to your browser or device, when you visit the Site or click on ads that appear on the Services. If you click on a link to a third party website or service, a third party may also transmit cookies to you.
  • This Privacy Policy covers our use of cookies only and does not cover the use of cookies by third parties. We do not control when or how third parties place cookies on your computer. For example, third party websites to which a link points may set cookies on your computer. Please be aware that cookies placed by third parties may continue to track your activities online even after you have left our Services, and those third parties may not honor “Do Not Track” requests you have set using your browser or device.
  • For more information on cookies, including how to control your cookie settings and preferences, visit http://www.allaboutcookies.org.
  • We use the following cookies:

Essential Cookies

Essential cookies are required for providing you features or services that you have requested. For example, certain cookies enable you to log into secure areas of our Site or use a shopping cart feature within our Services. Disabling these cookies may make certain features and services unavailable.

Functionality Cookies

Functional cookies are used to record your choices and settings regarding our Services, maintain your preferences over time, and recognize you when you return to our Services. These cookies help us to personalize our content for you, greet you by name, and remember your preferences (for example, your choice of language or region).

Performance/Analytical Cookies

Performance/analytical cookies allow us to understand how visitors use our Site and Services such as by collecting information about the number of visitors to the Site, what pages visitors view on our Site, and how long visitors are viewing pages on the Site. Performance/analytical cookies also help us measure the performance of our advertising campaigns in order to help us improve our campaigns and the Services’ content for those who engage with our advertising.

Retargeting/Advertising Cookies

Retargeting/advertising cookies collect data about your online activity and identify your interests so that we can provide advertising that we believe is relevant to you.

Do Not Track Policy:

Through cookies we place on your browser or device, we may collect information about your online activity after you leave our Services. Just like any other usage information we collect, this information allows us to improve the Services and customize your online experience, and otherwise as described in this Privacy Policy. Your browser may offer you a “Do Not Track” option, which allows you to signal to operators of websites and web applications and services (including behavioral advertising services) that you do not wish such operators to track certain of your online activities over time and across different websites. When you turn on the Do Not Track function (sometimes also identified as Incognito Mode or Private Browsing) in your browser, we stop collecting the information from your browser that allows us to tailor advertisements and other content specifically to you that is based on your visits to our advertising partners’ websites. Specifically, we stop collecting information from the unique browser cookie that links your browser to visits to third party sites. Do Not Track signals are set on a browser-by-browser basis, so you must set them on every browser you use if you do not wish to be tracked. Remember that this is just our Do Not Track policy, and we can’t and don’t make any promises about how third parties react when you set this signal on your browser.

Information Related to Advertising and the Use of Web Beacons:

To support and enhance the Services, we may serve advertisements, and also allow third parties advertisements, through the Services. These advertisements are sometimes targeted and served to particular users and may come from third party companies called “ad networks.” Ad networks include third party ad servers, ad agencies, ad technology vendors and research firms.

Advertisements served through the Services may be targeted to users who fit a certain general profile category and may be based on anonymized information inferred from information provided to us by a user, including Personal Information (e.g., gender or age), may be based on the Services usage patterns of particular users, or may be based on your activity on Third Party Services. We do not provide Personal Information to any ad networks for use outside of the Services.

To increase the effectiveness of ad delivery, we may deliver a file (known as a “web beacon”) from an ad network to you through the Services. Web beacons allow ad networks to provide anonymized, aggregated auditing, research and reporting for us and for advertisers. Web beacons also enable ad networks to serve targeted advertisements to you when you visit other websites. Because your web browser must request these advertisements and web beacons from the ad network’s servers, these companies can view, edit or set their own cookies, just as if you had requested a web page from their site. You may be able to opt-out of web beacon tracking conducted by third parties through our Services by adjusting the Do Not Track settings on your browser; please note that we don’t control whether or how these third parties comply with Do Not Track requests.

Aggregate Information:

We collect statistical information about how both unregistered and registered users, collectively, use the Services (“Aggregate Information”). Some of this information is derived from Personal Information. This statistical information is not Personal Information and cannot be tied back to you, your Account or your web browser.

Information Regarding Your Social Networks:

Occasionally, you can use your Account on our Services to interact with your accounts on other services, such as Facebook or Twitter. In addition to using your third party account credentials to sign in to the Services, you can access posting and sharing tools on the Services, including a “share” button that allows you to post information to your social networks outside of the Services (“Share”).

Please note that these tools may be operated by Third Party Services. By using these tools, you acknowledge that some third party account information may be transmitted into your Account with us, and that third party account information transmitted to our Services is covered by this Privacy Policy. Additionally, when you use one of these sharing tools, the Third Party Service that operates the tool may be collecting information about your browser or online activity through its own tracking technologies and subject to its own privacy policy. Lastly, when you use these tools, some of your information from the Services (such as the reservation information you selected to Share) may be shared with the Third Party Service and others. Therefore, we encourage you to read the privacy policies and other policies of the social networks you use in connection with the Services.

How, and With Whom, Is My Information Shared?

It’s important for you to know that we never share information we receive from you unless: (a) we have your permission to share that information; (b) we have given you prior notice that the information will be shared, and with whom (such as in this Privacy Policy); or (c) that information is aggregate information or other information that does not identify you.

What Choices Do I Have Regarding My Information?

How To Get Your Watch To Us

If you're local, use Concierge!

Corporate Concierge: If for whatever reason it's difficult to get to us, we will pick up the watch and drop it back off to you. Our service area for this stretches from UBC to Boundary Road, downtown to South Vancouver. This is our Concierge Service!

Get Concierge

For everywhere else, send it in!

If you need to send a watch into us because you are not in the Concierge Zone and cannot make it to our store in person:

  • please contact us using the "? Help" floating button to discuss your watch & shipping options.
  • Do NOT use Canada Post to send in your watch. Please use either Fed Ex, UPS, or Purolator.

For shipping, at the very least, we suggest packing your timepiece in a sturdy box or container that is padded. A pelican micro case is a perfect option for this  as your watch will be well cushioned and protected for its trip over to us. In it please provide contact information so we know who the watch is from. (We have many skills but being clairvoyant is not one!)

Here's the drill:

  1. Contact us & wait for a reply. ( click the " ?Help" button bottom right corner)
  2. Package and send your item.
  3. We receive your item & provide you with a job ticket.
  4. We inspect your watch & contact you with our findings.
  5. On your approval we complete the required service/repair work.
  6. We ship your watch back to you!
